Pale white-yellow with greenish reflections. Quite lush, clear, ripe fruit aromas, dense and now somewhat superficial. Pleasingly fruity on the palate and certainly with a higher residual sweetness for Franconia. Could do with more tension and purism; after all, a Grand Cru should not primarily be a consumer wine.
