The red wine »Cuvée Josef« *** trocken, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabertin, Merlot from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Quite opaque in colour. Cassis with savouriness and some dark chocolate on the nose. No cuddly toy on the palate, pronounced muscle, the tannins are powerful and ripe, lingering for quite a while. Present fruit, also peppery, good length.
