The red wine »Stern« Pinot Noir Réserve ***, vintage 2018 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2026 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir
Garnet red with light brownish reflections at the edges. Morels, undergrowth, raisined plums and ripe walnut skin on the nose. Very warm, spicy and ripe aromas. Also ripe, warm red fruit on the palate. Juicy center, finely infused with minerality. The tannins are pithy and the phenolics dense. Acidity is almost too subordinate. Warm, extract-sweet length.
