The rosé wine »Stern« Rosé Fumé *** trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Weingut Stern has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Salmon orange in colour. Some wood barrel in the fragrance. Then also aromas of candied orange peel and lime. The palate has a clear woody character, is tangy and fresh with a lively acid nerve, good substance and leads onto a finish characterised by cherry fruit and wood aromas.
