The red wine »Zukunft« Syrah trocken, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut Sterneisen has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Chocolate and herbal savouriness on the nose, also leather and kirsch. On the palate, the wine combines fullness and nerve, the fine-grained tannin, which integrates a hint of vegetal notes well, is softly embedded, the vital acidity typical of the vintage leads to a juicy, elegant finish. A well-made cool-climate Syrah.
