The red wine »Heimat Blue Label« Lemberger, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Sterneisen has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Lemberger from the region Württemberg in Germany.
Ethereal and slightly peppery at the start, dark berry fruit, juniper, sour cherry, dried thyme, dill and subtle roasted notes. Juicy and fresh on the palate, with good extract and fine texture interwoven with filigree acidity and noticeably ripe tannin. Beautiful length and with ageing potential for years to come.
