Dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, delicate bright rim. Discreet fine oak note, hints of blackberry and liquorice, with tobacco and herbal savouriness in the background. Juicy, fine sweet fruit, integrated tannins, elegant and harmonious, and subtle nougat on the finish. It has good length, and is a multi-faceted food wine with ageing potential.
