Tasting Notes
Deep dark ruby, intense deep core hue, violet glints, faintly lighter at the rim. Delicately toasted aromas of black berries, dark sweetheart cherries, some liquorice, cassis, and a touch of caramel. Very enticing bouquet. Juicy, complex, ripe cherries, filigree acidity, perfectly integrated tannins with a delicate chocolate touch on the finish. This wine has reached a perfect stage for maximal enjoyment. A perfect example of the variety after ten years of ageing.
