The red wine V.I.B. Very Important Bottle, vintage 2020 from the winery Weingut Taferner has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark ruby in colour with purple reflections, and subtle brightening on the rim. On the nose, intense herbal spiced aromas with a delicate touch of fine oak, cranberry, black fruit, and cherry underpinned by nougat and tobacco. The palate is powerful and juicy, underpinned with sweet fruit, with silky, supporting tannins, long and mineral with some caramel on the finish. Already very well developed, the wine has the potential for further ageing.

Powerful, juicy and underpinned with sweet fruit, silky, well-carried tannins, some caramel on the finish, shows length, already very well developed, has certain ageing potential.
