Dark ruby with purple reflections, brighter at the broad rim. Black berry fruits, nuances of cassis, blackberry and dark sweet cherry underlaid with a fine touch of oak and candied mandarin zest. Complex and juicy with fresh cherry, blackberry confit and some cassis, the wine has ripe, silky tannins and a mineral finish. Persistent, with definite ageing potential.
