The red wine Saulheim Probstey Spätburgunder trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Thörle has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Rhine Hesse in Germany.
Intensely fruity fragrance, but not lacking in depth: wild cherry, sage, thyme and wormwood, cranberry, hibiscus. On the palate the wine is round and supple, the tannins are fine-grained and mellow, releasing a lot of juiciness in the finish.
