The white wine Kanzem Hörecker Riesling, vintage 2019 from the winery Weingut von Hövel has been rated in 2021 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Moselle in Germany.
Complex aroma: smoky, slate-spicy notes, a hint of overripe fruit, baked apple, but then also citrus-fresh aromas, yeast, balsamic spontaneous fermentation savouriness. On the palate it shows with a juicy, fresh arc of tension, typical of the Saar and much leaner than the aroma would lead one to expect, clearly mineral in character, very straightforward and becoming ever finer and more playful on the finish.
