The white wine Deidesheimer Kieselberg Riesling GG, vintage 2009 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2010 with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Clear and savoury, delicate woody savouriness, deep, spicy fruit. Dense and juicy, very racy, but of ripe raciness, almost dusty minerality at the end, quite chalky, a lot of interplay, piquant and racy, cool. Firm to the bite, long, a purist Riesling of great complexity.
