The white wine »II« Sauvignon Blanc, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut von Winning has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 89+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sauvignon Blanc from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Still closed on the nose, with slightly reductive notes, some yeast, but also cassis, gooseberry and elderberry. Slender, firm structure, juicy and supple on the palate, with freshness and corresponding residual sweetness, active acidity typical of the vintage, some carbonic acid. Has certain ageing potential for further development.
