The white wine Kirchhofen Kirchberg Pilzen Chardonnay Badischer Landwein trocken, vintage 2017 from the winery Weingut Wasenhaus has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 93+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Baden in Germany.
Some apple, low sulphur, some spice (probably Dreherclon) on the silky, fine textured palate, that also displays some good fullness, yet not broad. It is very mineral with 18 months on full lees, never pumped, 300 bottles, very elongated structure.
