Ripe pear in the concentrated nose, with quince peel, herbs, rock dust, orange peel, some bay leaf and clove. Delivers the minerality on the palate through savouriness and also energy, good substance, dense in its structure with lots of savouriness, saltiness and also citric hints. The phenolics lends support, with a brief hint of bitterness. Long and young, with good ageing potential.
