Tasting Notes
Strong yellow gold colour. Very subtle volatile acidity initially, clear botrytis spice, dried fruit of figs and dates, candied orange zest with a fine vanilla touch, apricot confit and subtle herbal spice, not yet fully coalesced on the nose. Juicy, sweet yellow fruit of mango and honeydew melon, some lanolin, very well integrated new wood, stylistically very similar to a Sauternes, fine tropical fruit flavours on the finish, full-bodied finish, pineapple, lemon and yellow peach on the aftertaste, very good ageing potential.
