The sweet and dessert wine Welschriesling Trockenbeerenauslese No. 9 Zwischen den Seen, vintage 2015 from the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Light golden yellow, silver reflections. Fine spicy botyrtis notes, hints of pineapple, yellow peach, candied orange zest, a touch of nougat in the background. Substantial, silky texture, perfect interplay of honeyed sweetness and taut acidity, salty-mineral finish, very clear and purist, already shows great length, still very youthful, a focused sweet wine - a jewel made for many years.
