The sweet and dessert wine Rosenmuskateller Beerenauslese »Red Roses«, vintage 2018 from the winery Weinlaubenhof Kracher has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Rosenmuskateller from the region Burgenland in Austria.
It has a bright cherry red colour, with orange reflections, and a delicate silver rim. There is an attractive muscat touch, notes of yellow peach, hints of fully ripe apricot, and a hint of rosoglio liqueur in the background. It is juicy, with ripe stone fruit, discreet hints of passion fruit and pineapple, cherry compote, a pleasant acid balance, and persistence. It has a delicate fruity style, and is a small dessert in itself.
