Ripe apple, Mirabelle plum and some vanilla show on the nose. It's powerful and generous on the palate, again with plenty of ripe fruit, and a structure determined by the barrique ageing which gives good concentration and density. There's a suppleness and mineral freshness here too, and certain ageing potential.
