The white wine »Edition Papillon« Chardonnay trocken, vintage 2021 from the winery Weinmanufaktur Gerhard Schwarztrauber has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 90+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Chardonnay from the region Pfalz (Palatinate) in Germany.
Distinctly savoury on the nose, hazelnut, pear, oak influence. On the palate, the fruit is again dominated by pear, but with a lactic touch, savouriness and a little tannin. At the same time softer and deeper than the Auxerrois.
