The red wine »Edition TT« Oberbergen Baßgeige Spätburgunder, vintage 2020 from the winery Winzergenossenschaft Oberbergen eG has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Baden in Germany.
The nose mixes buttery tones and some new wood with a ripe cherry fruit, cocktail cherry and a touch of plum. On the palate the wine shows some volume. A fine dense grain of tannin lines the palate, juiciness and acidity nerve provides balance and elegance despite the hefty alcohol content. Mineral undertones accompany the still restrained fruit. A textured wine with good ageing potential.
