Tasting Notes
An exquisitely spicy nose is redolent of conifer and lichen, of a sense of crushed pine needle, a lifted, perfumed note that makes the plum fruit take flight. The palate has an earthier aspect and a core of rounded, ripe, generous fruit, seemingly dusted with cinnamon. There is a lovely agility in the wine, freshness and an almost floral echo. Tannins and freshness seem to heighten each other’s presence into a mouth-watering crescendo.
