Laurel, almond and the typical hints from Pinot of "worn tyres". Also cherry stone, sage and lemon thyme. The palate is juicy and sinuous, surprisingly "fresh" given the hot vintage, the tannins are ripe and present in adequately medium-high quantities, the structure will continue to mature for a few years towards an increasing spiciness.
