Since 1973 the Müller family of winemakers in Klöch has been committed to viticulture. On the steep slopes of extinct volcanoes, the vines take root in rich soils of red earth and basalt rock. High-quality grapes from the best vineyards, careful craftsmanship and respectful treatment of the cultural heritage form the basis for authentic wines. They show character and provenance, bear a clear signature and convey wine enjoyment with style.
From the Klöcher top vineyards Hochwarth and Seindl, elegant white wines, deep Traminer and Gewürztraminer as well as spicy-delicate red wines are pressed.
On June 1 2019, the new vinotheque was opened at the winery. Wine lovers can expect a wonderful blend of stylish architecture and down-to-earthness there. The building in its warm, earthy red tones blends harmoniously into the surrounding landscape. A spacious tasting and sales room, where all the wines are on display, invites visitors to taste and linger. The inner courtyard with its southern atmosphere is a special place to enjoy. On the observation tower with lounge area you can enjoy the magnificent view over the vineyards with a good glass of wine.
A visit to the winery is thus not only an experience for the palate, but also for the eye.
Not far from the winery, the Müller-Koschar family runs the idyllic and beautifully situated hotel-garni "Schöne Aussichten" on a hill. Twelve stylishly furnished rooms with four-star comfort, a spacious garden and an in-house pool are available to guests.
As the name suggests, the view invites you to dream and the atmosphere to linger. Surrounded by vineyards, you can enjoy the peace and nature and get to know the volcanic country from its most beautiful side.
