Moët Hennessy invests in non-alcoholic sparkling wine
Moët Hennessy has acquired a minority stake in the leading non-alcoholic sparkling wine brand French Bloom.
With the investment by Moët Hennessy, the wine and spirits division of LVMH, in the French sparkling wine brand French Bloom, the company is taking its first step into the world of non-alcoholic wines. So far, the Moët portfolio includes Dom Pérignon, Joseph Phelps Vineyards, Krug and Terrazas de los Andes.
"At French Bloom, our aim has always been to create non-alcoholic sparkling wine cuvées of great complexity that allow everyone to celebrate together. With Moët Hennessy, we have found a partner who shares our vision for the future of the non-alcoholic category and our commitment to expanding inviting moments of togetherness," said Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger & Constance Jablonski, co-founders of French Bloom.
French Bloom was founded in 2021 by Maggie Frerejean-Taittinger and Constance Jablonski and Maggie's husband Rodolphe Frerejean-Taittinger after several years of research and development. In less than three years, they have brought their cuvée collection, which is made from French organic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines, to more than 30 countries.
"We are incredibly proud to partner with French Bloom, a pioneer in non-alcoholic sparkling wine with unrivalled taste and distinctive brand identity. This investment is in line with Moët Hennessy's key strategic initiatives and underlines our commitment to offer quality alcohol-free products to consumers who are limiting their alcohol consumption. We are confident that our expertise in wines and spirits, combined with the exceptional innovation and visionary leadership of the Bloom team in France, will enable us to shape the future of the category. We look forward to working with Maggie, Constance and Rodolphe," says Philippe Schaus, CEO of Moët Hennessy.
