Michelin-starred chefs Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman will open ADAM ALBIN on April 10. Located at Gustav Adolfs Torg in central Stockholm, the new restaurant marks their most ambitious fine dining project to date.

Stockholm’s culinary landscape is set to welcome a notable new addition. On April 10, chefs Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman will open ADAM ALBIN, a new fine dining restaurant located at Regeringsgatan 2, just steps from Gustav Adolfs Torg.

The duo has worked together for more than two decades and gained international recognition with Adam/Albin, the restaurant they founded in 2012. In 2022, it was awarded one Michelin star, establishing Dahlberg and Wessman among Sweden’s leading figures in contemporary fine dining.

With ADAM ALBIN, the chefs present what they describe as the most complete expression of their culinary partnership so far. The cuisine combines global influences with a Nordic sensibility while also drawing inspiration from classical French cooking. Dishes are composed with restraint, allowing the ingredients to take centre stage.

“For us, luxury is not about abundance, but about time, precision, and genuine care. Our guests should feel completely looked after and relaxed, as if they are stepping into our home,” says Adam Dahlberg.

Design and Dining Experience

The restaurant spans three floors and 550 square metres, offering views of the Royal Palace, the Royal Opera and the Swedish Parliament. The space has been designed by the acclaimed Swedish design studio Halleroed, founded by Christian and Ruxandra Halleröd, marking the studios first restaurant project.

Large arched windows fill the dining room with natural light, while references to 1960s design introduce a subtle contrast to the otherwise classical interior. “We were immediately drawn to the location, situated between the centre of political power and the city’s cultural heart,” says Ruxandra Halleröd. “The result reflects Adam and Albin well – expressive but relaxed.”

Rather than following a rigid format, the dining experience will evolve in dialogue with guests, allowing the menu, pacing and wine pairings to adapt to the mood of each table. ADAM ALBIN opens on April 10 at Regeringsgatan 2 in central Stockholm.
