The sekt Phineas III Metodo Classico Brut VSQ from the winery Arunda has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Weißburgunder from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Bright, shining light gold with a delicate orange sheen and a medium-bodied mousse. On the nose blood orange, nuts, dried apricot, darkly mineral, raisin and dried fruit. On the palate an oxidative style, salty, it spreads nicely and is balanced over the tongue, nutty flavours, at the same time it is very fresh. It is harmonious and is a welcome variation.
