The white wine »Alte Reben« Gerlachsheim Herrenberg Müller-Thurgau Cuvée Spätlese trocken, vintage 2020 from the winery Becksteiner Winzer has been rated in 2022 by Ulrich Sautter with 91+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Müller-Thurgau from the region Baden in Germany.
Buttery on the nose, almost Burgundy-like, with a slightly nutty note and intense yellow peach fruit. In the mouth, the wine is immediately aromatic, red berry fruit meets minty spice, the robust body is paired with juiciness and fine acidity. Lots of substance, a little texture, very full-bodied. The wine is called "Cuvée" because it also contains a dash (<15%) of Silvaner.
