The crémant Bouvet »Ogmius« Saumur Rosé Extra-Brut, vintage 2019 from the winery Bouvet Ladubay has been rated in 2023 by Peter Moser, Gerhild Burkhard, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler, Irene Forni with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Franc, Chenin Blanc from the region Loire Valley in France.
Bright salmon colour with orange hues. Attractive red-fruit aromas, raspberry, strawberry, a little blood orange and a touch of damp forest floor. Refreshing mousse on the palate, subtle, tart, with appealing tannins and a full-bodied richness. Lingering, refined grapefruit notes on the medium-long finish, still youthful.
