Tasting Notes
Light amber, mahogany shimmer. Fine notes of nuts and prunes, candied orange zest, hints of Advent. Light-bodied on the palate, hints of sweet sherry, raisined fruit, subtle acidity, pleasant chocolate note in the finish, but of course already showing its age. After 73 years, however, this historical wine antique still offers a lot of drinking pleasure, a graceful wine from the time of the Second World War.
