Tasting Notes
Medium carmine garnet, violet core, ruby red reflections, broad ochre rim. The nose is characterized by an enchanting sweetness, fine caramel, some honey, roasted aromas, sweet spices, dark berry confit. Surprisingly firm on the palate for the vintage, very concrete tannin structure, appears tightly meshed and almost somewhat austere, fine dark berry fruit on the palate, some red berry confit on the finish, anything but a lightweight. Already a good food companion today, but also has a good future thanks to its firm texture. (store/drink/+20)
