Tasting Notes
Strong crimson garnet, ruby reflections, broader ochre rim. On the nose fine notes of licorice and cassis, tobacco hints, mineral aspects, some dried fruit, plus floral nuances. On the palate powerful, black cherry elegant texture, extract sweetness, well integrated tannins, mineral-salty notes, hints of raspberry pulp and red cherries, on the finish, taut and youthful, good early form, still young.
More about the tastingDeep crimson garnet, violet core, ruby red reflections, broad ochre rim. Fine notes of licorice and cassis on the nose, hints of tobacco, mineral aspects, some dried fruit and floral nuances. Powerful on the palate, some black tea, elegant texture, still strongly influenced by new wood, delicate earthy nuances, yet much more precise than the Richebourg, tends to dry out a little on the finish, has slightly astringent traits despite its class.
