Tasting from 15.03.2011

Medium carmine-garnet in colour, with a broad rim brightening. Ripe berry jam, hints of cranberries, dried herbs and some fine peppery nuances on the nose, which imparts a subtle sweetness. Juicy and elegant on the palate, it's already ready to drink with a core of creamy Syrah fruit. Classic nuances of oranges, perfectly integrated yet vivid tannins, and cherries in the aftertaste. This shows an almost Burgundian character, with good ageing potential.
