Tasting Notes

95
Tasting from 15.03.2011

Dark ruby colour, watery rim. Sweet elderberry, graphite, subtle dried apricot flavour, intense, attractive bouquet, dark minerality. Juicy, fleshy, vivid, well-integrated tannins, fine dried plum note on the finish, chocolatey aftertaste, full-bodied, well-lasting food wine, very good ageing potential, floral nuances in the aftertaste. Not representative of the northern Rhône. Somewhat contradictory in context.
