The red wine Selection Hermitage »Farconnet«, vintage 2009 from the winery Domaine Jean-Louis Chave has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter, Peter Moser, Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tournon-sur-Rhône in France.
Pushed juniper and blueberry, wild herbal tones, palate with a lot of texture and charm, very finely pixelated tannin, subtle acidity, forest honey and dried blueberries on the palate, silky with an extra dose of firmness in the leather, very fruit driven on the palate. Seems very fresh and impeccably precise. Discreetly mineral.
