The red wine Saint-Joseph rouge, vintage 2011 from the winery Domaine Jean-Louis Chave has been rated in 2019 by Ulrich Sautter with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tournon-sur-Rhône in France.
Cherry and chili, red pepper, a touch of new wood (caramel), silky mouthfeel, then increasing tannic grain, natural harmony, rather mild acidity but the body and structure are nevertheless impeccably balanced with a spicy and subtle mineral flanked finish. Good and homogeneous length.
