Aromas of cherry juice and milk chocolate are followed by a massive mouth attack; dry, mealy and high in tannin with mineral foundations on the palate. The well-integrated acidity suits the wine physiologically with a ripe red-berry finish making for a stylish and gastronomic Châteauneuf, whose high alcohol (15.5) does not show.
