Tasting from 08.08.2021: Anne Krebiehl MW

A powdery note of autolysis is immediately followed by a sense of tart berry fruit and hedgerow that slowly fleshes out into summery strawberry. The palate - from the warm summer of 2018 - shows poise and balance and its low dosage sits well with the ripe and expressive berry fruit. Fine but rounded freshness suggests that this will be very well suited to the table. Fine and gentle mousse disperses both freshness and berry notes beautifully. This is lovely now but will evolve.
