Tasting from 17.10.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright, noble ruby red. Compact nose of rich cherries, black truffle, some pepper, abundant rich berry fruit in the echo, some blackberry and cassis. Densely woven on the palate with beautiful texture and punchy tannin, opens in many layers, plus austere stony components. Radiant and deep, lingers long, a terrific wine.
