Clear ruby with a slight garnet shimmer. Very intense and inviting nose, full of ripe wild raspberry and dark cherry, slightly smoky-mineral components in the background. Very dense on the palate, dark berry fruit, then unfortunately quite rough and coarse tannins at the back, earthy notes on the finish.
