Beef Fillet and Burrata

Two Italian classics brought together as one dish? Carpaccio meets fresh burrata.

For the fillet:

Ingredients (4 servings)
salt
black pepper, freshly ground
olive oil
240 g fillet of beef

For the burrata:

Ingredients (4 servings)
2 burrata
small basil leaves
salt
black pepper, freshly ground
colourful cornflower petals or other edible flowers
olive oil
  • Cut the beef fillet into 3mm thin slices and spread thinly on the plate. Pluck the burrata with your fingers and arrange on top.
  • Season the fillet and the burrata with salt and pepper and drizzle with the olive oil. Place the basil leaves and the petals of the cornflowers on the burrata.
