The elegant restaurant is located in a luxury hotel, from the terrace you have a spectacular view. The kitchen celebrates purity and the pure taste of local produce. You can also expect a lot from the wines.
You can see the joy of doing things in the young, dynamic team. Vjeko Bašić arranges his dishes like small works of art on the plate, the focus is clearly on fish dishes, the specialty of the house is raw tuna. Good Croatian wines.
The Badurina-Badi family has been breathing its very special energy into the restaurant since 1986. They are known for raw fish starters, pasta buzara and the truffle dishes. Another highlight is the sea bass in bread crust. Very good Istrian wines.
So cosy: wooden beams, rustic stone walls and a lovely fireplace. The signature dish is pasta served with a tender beef stew, made from the famous Boškarin beef. Mounds of truffles are shaved onto the pasta, and there's chocolate cake for dessert.
The Hotel Adriatic, with a long history, houses a brasserie with open kitchen, furnished in French style. The coffee is excellent, at lunch light dishes are offered. In the evening there is pasta with truffles or ravioli with ricotta. .
Lost in this space of absolute tranquility, you will be surprised to see a pool and small apartments, and the cosy traditional restaurant with an open fireplace. The service is friendly. The cured ham and homemade pasta with truffles are recommended. In season, game birds are the specialty of the house.
A centrally located, casual bistro. The small team focuses on creative ideas, which vary according to what's fresh at the market and in season. For example, the duck liver mousse is cleverly accompanied by toasted hazelnuts and tomato confit, and the aromatic pork belly is beautifully served with rainbow chard.
Operator Josip scores not only with a great team, the sunsets from the terrace are simply breathtaking. Fish and meat are served and you should definitely try the tuna steak or buttery soft gnocchi with crab meat.
Atmosphere like a living room. The house is known for very good quality home cooking. Real beef soup or nettle soup are good starters. Goulash from Boškarin beef, the grilled scampi and the excellent apple pie are classics.
The Japanese-Peruvian restaurant and bar has style, the presentation of the small delicacies is creative and colourful. In addition to classics like sushi, shrimp and vegetables in tempura batter, ceviche or spicy Thai soup with shrimp are also delicious.
Located in the old town, this restaurant with a lovely atmosphere serves Mediterranean cuisine at reasonable prices. Crispy fritto misto, tuna steak in a sesame crust with a fennel-orange salad, and the truffle pasta are all generous and delicious.
An idyllic location, set in a vineyard. The dishes are traditional, with a modern touch. For example, the pike perch fillet is fried in cornmeal and served with a mild garlic sauce. A nice selection of wine from the vineyard.
A trendy place, the name says it all: grilled meat and fish with intense flavours are served on a wooden board, accompanied by potatoes, crisp salads or chard. The pasta dishes with a creative touch are exciting. Very good cocktails.
