Claude Bosi Will Open New Restaurant in London

Michelin-starred French chef Claude Bosi is opening a new restaurant, Socca Bistro, in London's Mayfair with restauranteur Samyukta Nair.

The new restaurant will be a French-Mediterranean bistro that "pays homage to the coastal towns & flavours of the French Riviera", according to social media posts by the pair. It will open in the 2022 English summer.

Claude Bosi has a eponymous two Michelin-star restaurant and oyster bar in Chelsea. He used to own and run another two Michelin-star restaurant in London, Hibiscus, which shut in 2016. Samyukta Nair is the restaurateur behind Indian restaurants Jamavar and Bombay Bustle.

"I'm thrilled to partner with the incredibly talented Claude Bosi to open Socca Bistro that pays homage to the coastal towns of Cannes, Marseille and Nice to recreate the nostalgia and flavours of the French Riviera," Samyukta Nair said in an Instagram post with a photo of herself and Bosi.

Socco, named after both chickpea flour and the pea flower, will be located at 41 South Audley Street in Mayfair, the site of the former Richoux restaurant.
