EVA Air celebrates its London route

Airline marks the 30th anniversary of flights from London to Bangkok and Taipei.

As the first private international airline in Taiwan, EVA Air was established in March 1989. The airline launched routes from London to Taipei and Bangkok four years later and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of these flights, EVA Air will apply discounts for all return flights booked from London Heathrow to Bangkok or Taipei: £30 on all Economy Class tickets, £60 on all Premium Economy Class tickets, and £90 on all Business Class tickets. Bookings have to be made on EVA Air´s website between March 27 and April 10, 2023, for departures between May 1 and December 9, 2023.

The airline also has prepared more promotions and competitions, including a social media competition and a bus advertising campaign. It will also hold an anniversary party on March 30, the actual date of the anniversary, at St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel in central London.

“It has been an incredible 30 years, and we have seen these routes become more and more popular with travellers from the UK,” said Sarah Wu, EVA Air´s General Manager in the London office.

EVA Air is part of the Evergreen Group and a sister company to global container-shipping leader Evergreen Line. EVA Air has daily flights from London Heathrow to Bangkok and Taipei. The Star Alliance member flies to over 60 international destinations throughout Asia, Oceania, Europe and North America.
