As the leaves turn golden yellow, things are also getting colorful in the kitchen: pumpkin season is upon us and with it comes delicious recipe inspiration. The orange flesh is full of vitamins, minerals and fiber, which aid digestion, have an antioxidant effect and strengthen nerves, muscles and the heart. The seeds and the deep green pumpkin seed oil obtained from them are also particularly valuable, as they have an anti-inflammatory effect, positively influence the metabolism and also boost the production of the happiness hormone serotonin.
