Ingredients (2 servings)
150 g Emmentaler AOP, whole
1/2 Organic cucumber
100 g Cream cheese
20 g Honey
20 g Green salad, preferably with herbs
4 slices Farmer's or rye bread
100 g Ham (preferably beef)
Pepper
  • Cut the cucumber in half lengthways, scrape out the seeds with a spoon and cut into very thin strips. Grate about a third of the Swiss Emmentaler AOP.
  • Mix the cream cheese and cucumber strips in a bowl, add the grated Emmentaler and season with honey and pepper. Cut the remaining cheese into slices.
  • Wash the lettuce and drain well. Toast the slices of bread on a contact grill or in a pan, spread with the cucumber spread and top with slices of cheese, green salad and ham. Top each with the second slice of bread and serve.

En Guete!
