Muntenia - Große Walachei

Muntenia (Great Wallachia) is situated bewteen the Carpathian Mountains and the Danube River, with the best vineyards being located in the southern foothills of the Carpathian hills. Large wine-growing areas are located in Dealu Mare, which spread across Prahova County (mainly reds) and Buzău County (predominantly whites).
