Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2024

The story of the Sobrero winery begins in 1940: the main character is grandfather Francesco, who grew and sold grapes until the 1960s, when wine production began thanks to the commitment of Settimo and Pier Franco. The first Barolo label dates back to 1964. In 2000, Flavio, Settimo's son, joined the growing business. As a viticultural technician, he combined tradition with innovation and technology to further improve the quality of the products. The estate now focuses on organic cultivation and the wines are sold at home and abroad.
