The red wine Barolo Riserva DOCG Pernanno, vintage 2016 from the winery Sobrero Francesco has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby garnet colour with gentle brightening on the rim. On the nose, intense notes of dried herbs, incense, precious wood, walnut, then wild berries and red peach. On the palate juicy and with gentle tannins, also shows clear fruit, then unfortunately a bit loosely knit on the finish.
